Samar Hafez won position as Double Bass soloist of the Brandenburger Synfoniker

Samar Hafez was one the first Double Bass students at the Barenboim-Said Akademie. She recently won the audition to be Double Bass soloist at the Brandenburger Synfoniker. Hafez has been a long-time member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra in addition to her position as section leader at the Neue Philharmonie Berlin. Bravo, Samar!
