We are pleased to welcome two new colleagues to assume the newly created position of Distinguished Lecturer in Middle Eastern Studies. Dr. Alia Mossallam will be teaching in the 2025 summer semester, with Dr. Zahyie Kundos taking over in the following winter semester. Both scholars are acknowledged experts in this field, which is an essential part of our Akademie’s identity.

Classes will be held for all study levels, and both new faculty members will also give lectures open to the general public.
