This duo recital brings together three graduates of the Barenboim-Said Akademie: horn player Ben Goldscheider and pianist Giuseppe Guarrera, both regular guests at the Pierre Boulez Saal in previous seasons, present a colorful program of music ranging from Beethoven to Volker David Kirchner, as well as new works by Mark Simpson and Guillem Palomar—who completed his composition studies at the Akademie in the class of Jörg Widmann in 2021.
